After shooting several thousand images of the Kenya Rift Valley I combined them with sound clips taken of my old iPad with a Belkin stereo mic attachment. To demonstrate easy low tech ways to tell a story it was storyboarded on Keynote/Powerpoint and then recorded with voice and sound editing on ScreenFlow. Could of been done on either iMove or MS Movie Maker.

Africa, and most countries, have deep histories of storytelling. Storytelling is another version of journalism. Look at this brilliant entry from Taha Sharif. We have had a number of requests on if students can submit animations that tell the story of local traditions and cultures. You will see great examples in the UN's Plural+ contest. We encourage sharing this material. After all, this is your story.
