A Curriculum designed to defeat "Human Relationship Deficiency'
I ran into Len and Libby Traubman in 2012 after they documented the remarkable relationship building workshop between Christians and Muslins in Nigeria. They had already achieved 28 years of meetings between Palestinians and Jews along with other seemingly impossible conflicts.
Many people of us have fears of what will happen when all the pain within a person's story comes out, well fear not. In watching the human healing methods in their videos and curriculum, compiled from dialogs between enemies (that become friends), you will regain your faith in humanity. This material provides you with new insight as to your power as an educator to make the world a better place. No one can see this material and not be moved by the beauty and power that is contained in the human story.
Len and Libby delivering these workshop between Palestinians and Jews for over 28 years, in 2012 the challenge to take on one between Christians, Muslins, and tribes in war torn Abuja has spread into the Congo and around the world. That course is viewable and downloadable below.
"Every body has a story that needs, even longs to be listened to. Unheard and disregarded very very fine loving men and women in youth can become desperate, hopeless, even violent and even a terrorist. This is preventable and it's curable by you, if today you make the decision to become a great listener. Because, as the first one in the room to listen you have the power to change. You have the power to change the relationships." Len & Libby Taubman Commencement Speech, Notre Dame de Namur University 2017
Even if you do not teach the entire workshop any one of their lessons is an experience worth giving a class.
The film below "Dialogue in Nigeria Muslins & Christians Creating Their Future" has won numerous international awards. The website is packed with video and curriculum content that free to all who will use it.
