US School

I teach in two large High Schools. In one the school library is packed all day long with students lined up in the computers. The other also with a large population is dead. I sat and watched only 10 books being checked out by the populace in one day. Both school systems are in CT. Amazing the impact of leadership.

Education in Africa has not been taken into consideration our own culture. Education started by colonizers who brought their thoughts, culture, norms and values and Africans forgot their own africanism and thus swallow all of the colonizers breads. Africa has been circumcised in mind and thoiught that to live happy, we need necessary to seek support from Europe/Amerca, wht don't we teach our people to live our life taking into consideration our culture, norms and values.
