Hi Richard,

Not sure if Susan told you, but I am part of the Advisory Board for the Darfur Sisterschool Program with the Enough Project, in DC.  If there is a way I could get word out through this avenue, it would be great.

Education in Africa has not been taken into consideration our own culture. Education started by colonizers who brought their thoughts, culture, norms and values and Africans forgot their own africanism and thus swallow all of the colonizers breads. Africa has been circumcised in mind and thoiught that to live happy, we need necessary to seek support from Europe/Amerca, wht don't we teach our people to live our life taking into consideration our culture, norms and values.

Thank you Ruchard, I have a video documentary on the workers crisis. The women speaking for themselves. The day this video was shot, their children had joined them in the struggle/fight for social justice.

Please we need their stories to be heard at all level.

Hello Richard!

Great for getting in touch with me! Am in Wesetern Kenya; Kakamega to be specific. Work related travel takes to the entire western Province and occasionally to Rift Valley. Where exactly are your friends? I may bump into them one or look for them when in the Rift Valley. But Riftvalley is quite expansive you know!

This is just a short shout out to you! Best.

Hi Richard

I'm in London and working on an anti child trafficking project in Malawi. Part of the project enables children/young people who may be vulnerable to trafficking to expresss their views about trafficking usin drama, storytelling poetry etc. This is then used in community awareness raising. We also have a link project with a school in London. Both sets of kids are working on the theme - What is work, what is play, what is childhood? It is early days but they will be sharing their work soon. Best wishes, Alec
