Thanks for your comment. I do believe that good and touchy stories can be even narrated by a 6 years child. The age is not a reference. Worst it can be some time a hindrance. This space is as good as the quality of its content and I do believe that like the Middle East, Africa, need innovative and organized voices, people able to build ideas and manage initiative, but most of all, people able to connect with the right partners worldwide to make things happen and delivering results that endure and make Africa a better place to live in. We have all Africa in our heart.

Dear Richard.

I have been working and studying and researching big time in the field of IT for nearly 15 years. I have just about completed my MCSE study program (Windows Server2003) and CompTIA (N+/A+/Sec+) and due for very costly examination in our capital city.

Could you have connections with Microsoft for certification training and funding opportunities.

I have just downloaded the Marketing Field Guide- it is fabulous. Marketing was my first college training course and job. I have later added ICT to it- as such I would be greatful for ICT Engineering staff too!

I haven't yet got feedback from Humphrey, though I left a note for him on PCDN.

Keep up the good work Sir.

Have a great weekend.

This is a good initiative. I have seen the crystal site and I have joined the kenyan group. we can now start working better since we have adequate number of people. I also hope to get more contacts and network members during the e-learning Africa conference in Dar es salaam from 24th to 28th May. Please let me have your opinion. Regards.

You can try the Liberian Writer's Association which has a mix of ages, and would know how to get to other groups that focus on youth, I should have their website somewhere-will look it up. Otherwise, can be connected through Elma Shaw (she's easy to find through googling). Sam Hare at the Ministry of Youth and Sports can be reached at  For Guinea, not so organized at this point, or at least that I'm aware of.  And for the Center website-still a dream away, but what you're doing is fantastic

Hi Richard, You asked about our organziation (Global eSchool and Communciations Initiative - GESCI - Yes our head office is in Nairobi - and we engage in a number of countries in the region in the area of assisting governments to develop strategy and policy for ICT in Education. I like the I am Africa this is my story' project as it gives voice and promotes understanding of a new generation of African youth - enabled to give voice to their stories by so many factors - but in particular through access to education and the pervasiveness of new emerging technologies. My congratulations on the project and my thanks to the young people for sharing their stories. Mary Hooker, Research Manager, GESCI
